Crime statistics for the Havant area for the year 2007/08 reveal that recorded crime figures totalled 11867 of which 3193 were criminal damage (including arson)

3. Drugs and alcohol – To reduce the harm caused by drugs and
alcohol focusing on alcohol related crime and drug and alcohol
dependency

4. Assault - To reduce the number of assaults in
particular to reduce domestic violence and the harm it causes those
who suffer

| 5. Young people - Reducing the vulnerability of young people

The Safer Havant Partnership operates an intelligence generation process to help tackle crime and disorder, and improve community safety. This process assimilates data that is exchanged across the Partnership, performs analyses, engages and consults with communities, and draws upon the resources from multiple agencies to solve the problems that have been identified. The Safer Havant intelligence development process operates around a 12-month cycle. The Safer Havant Strategic Assessment identifies the key issues and helps us to set our strategic priorities. |
