Safer Havant Partnership Engaged Communities Strategy

Effective communications and community engagement is vital to the success of the Safer Havant Partnership and key to improving community safety in the Havant Borough. Evidence shows that when people feel informed about action being taken to tackle anti-social behaviour and other community safety issues they have significantly more confidence in their local police and local authority than those who do not feel informed.

By raising awareness of the work of the Safer Havant Partnership and promoting the idea that the local authority, police and other agencies are working together to deal with community safety issues we will increase public confidence and reduce fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
